Missouri Libertarian Party candidate for Governor, Andy Finkenstadt,
will be participating in a candidate forum hosted by the Missouri
Press Association, Thursday Sept. 11th.

Candidates' Forum: Missouri Governor's Race

Time: 3:15-4:30 p.m.
Date: Thursday, Sept. 11
Place: Fisher Auditorium, 87 Gannett Hall, University of Missouri, Columbia

This session is free and open to the public, but a ticket is required for
admission. To request a free ticket, contact the Missouri Press Association at
573-449-4167 or e-mail mpaoffice at socket.net.  This forum will feature the
candidates for the office of Missouri governor. Gubernatorial candidates will
be invited to deliver brief opening and closing remarks as well as answer
questions.

The candidates' forum is sponsored by the Missouri Press Association, the
Missouri Broadcasters Association, the Missouri School of Journalism and the
Missouri Society of Newspaper Editors.

The following candidates were invited to participate. (Listed by last name in
alphabetical order.)

Andrew W. Finkenstadt, Libertarian
Andrew Finkenstadt is currently a senior software engineer for his own company.

Kenny Hulshof, Republican
Kenny Hulshof currently serves as a U.S. Congressman representing the Ninth District of Missouri.

Jeremiah W. (Jay) Nixon, Democrat
Jay Nixon currently serves as Missouri's attorney general.
