Gov. Gary Johnson to participate in Libertarian Presidential Candidate Debate March 24th in Kansas City

The Heartland Libertarian Convention to take place on Saturday, March 24th at the KCI Expo Center near the Kansas City Airport.

The 2012 Heartland Libertarian Convention will take place on Saturday, March 24th at the KCI Expo Center adjoined to the Holiday Inn at KCI. The event is a joint convention of the Missouri LP and the Kansas LP. Speakers include Dave Roland of the Freedom Center of Missouri, Austin Petersen, former Associate Producer of Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano on Fox Business, and Amber Iris Langston of Show-Me Cannabis. There will be an Elected Libertarian Forum with Doug Burlison of the Springfield, MO City Council and Andrew Gray of the Topeka, KS City Council. In addition, sessions on campaign media training and local activism and networking will also take place. Registration opens at 7:30 and the program begins at 8 am.

The Presidential Debate will take place from 3-5 pm. Seven Candidates are confirmed for the LP Presidential Debate, including Gov. Gary Johnson, R. Lee Wrights, RJ Harris, Carl Person, Bill Still, Roger Gary, and Jim Burns.

Participants may register online for the full convention or just the Presidential Debate. Registration is also available at the door. The press is welcome.

Voters who are Fed Up! with bailouts, stimulus plans that only stimulate bigger government, government takeover of health care, rising unemployment, never-ending foreign wars, and a big brother police state will find common ground with the Libertarian Party. The Libertarian Party is America's third largest political party and has been fighting for smaller government since 1971.
